Thursday 6th November - walks **** – Around Felixstowe – great sunrise and sunset but cloudy during the day!.

Walk 1 – sunrise prom.

The sunrise looked promising so I joined Mag on her early morning walk today, I left first at 6.30 and headed down to Felixstowe pier and there was a vibrant line of red on the horizon. I walked towards the beach hut village and the sunrise just got better and better for half an hour and I got some cracking pics, I was disappointed I didn’t get one on the TV weather :( I meet Mag and we walked to the big wheel which has nearly been dismantled again before turning and walking up the pram walk and home to sort out my pics, have a cuppa and toast in bed, we know how to live! I posted the sunrice pics on Facebook and have had many hundreds of likes today! The early sun quickly disappeared which put us off going out for a picnic today and enjoyed some time at home, both doing our exercises.

Walk 2 – Afternoon prom.

After lunch I made a flask and we walked down to the seafront again, with the wind very light the sea was like a millpool as we ended up by the round pond in the Spa gardens, we feed the fish and enjoyed a cuppa and chocolate bar before heading for home via the town.

Walk 3 – Felixstowe Ferry.

We arrived home at 3.30 and there was a glimpse of sun so I drove down to Felixstowe Ferry hoping for a sunset. I walked around the boatyard and after a slow start it turned out to be a nice sunset, once again I was disappointed not to get one of my afternoon pics on the telly, still can’t win them all and have got loads more likes on Facebook:)
